DB Schenker appointed International Freight Forwarding Partner for Hagemeyer Brands Australia

(Sydney, January 11, 2010) Schenker Australia Pty Ltd has been appointed as international freight forwarding and customs clearance partner for Hagemeyer Brands Australia (HBA) and will implement a sophisticated in-bound supply chain for the consumer electrical & appliance products distributed by HBA, which include such well known brands such as Blanco, DeDietrich, Omega Altise, JVC, Omega and Smeg.

The contract includes in-bound transportation services for high quality products from Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Singapore, and Malaysia to various locations within Australia. DB Schenker will import more than 4,000 TEUs via ocean freight and more than 30 tonnes via air freight.
